Ballston Spa High School Robotics Club

What a phenomenal time this past weekend at the spectacular FIRST Robotics competition at the MVP Arena! Absolutely thrilling to see team 3044 from Ballston High School Robotics Club do so well. We’re privileged to be a sponsor and have become huge fans of this mighty team of students doing such excellent work. Go Capital District high school robotics!

When visiting the team to get an idea of what this is all about, our Marketing manager, Lorenzo Agnes was highly impressed with the amount of work the students put in to make this competition happen. Essentially, they run it like a startup. They have several teams, with team captains, including engineering, marketing, finance, etc., so they’re learning practical life skills whilse spending hundreds of volunteer hours to prepare the robot for the competiton.

They didn’t win the competition but went into the playoffs ranked 7 of 56 and were chosen by the 3rd ranked team to join their alliance. While they didn’t win, the team did an amazing job and also received the Gracious Professionalism award during award ceremonies. Paired with their earned Spirit Award from the competition in Rochester two weeks ago, they still have a chance to earn a ticket to the World Championship in Houston next week based on all of their points collected as a team throughout the competition.

We’re pleased to be a sponsor of the Ballston Spa High School Robotics Club and encourage you to do the same! Please join us in supporting them by following them on social media:
